Funeral and Cremation Options
Stout Family Funeral Home provides personalized services to meet the desires of each family. Although not a complete list, the following are available:
Traditional Service
This service includes embalming, services of Funeral Director and staff, one day of viewing hours or all night wake, the services at the funeral home or church of your choice, a register book, memorial folders, acknowledgement cards, and the necessary automotive equipment. Your floral tributes will be displayed. You are encouraged to bring in photographs and other memorabilia to further personalize your service.
Graveside Service
Rather than a traditional church or chapel service some families choose to have only services at the graveside with or without a viewing or visitation the night before. Graveside services are usually shorter as there is limited seating and the season of the year may also play a factor.
Memorial Service
Some families choose to have services such as a traditional service at the funeral home or church of your choice but without the body present. Pictures and other memorabilia along with flowers are often displayed. May be used with cremation or if the burial is in another location.
Cremation Services
We offer cremation services that fit your families personal desires. You may choose to have a traditional service with viewing in an inexpensive wooden casket, a service with a closed casket or a service with no casket at all (Memorial Service). The service may conclude at the chapel and burial of the cremains may take place at a later date.
